Avago ACPL-38JT automotive IGBT 2.5A gate drive scheme

Avago’s ACPL-38JT is a gate drive optocoupler for automotive IGBTs. The output current is 2.5A. It integrates desaturation (VCE) detection and fault state feedback. It meets the requirements of automotive electronics AEC-Q100 Grade 1 standard. It can drive IC = 150 A, IGBT with VCE = 1200 V, maximum switching speed 500ns, IGBT “soft turn-off”, 5-30 working voltage, working temperature -40℃ to +125℃, mainly used to insulate the gate of IGBT/MOSFET Inverter Drives, automotive DC/DC converters, AC and brushless DC motor drives, and UPS.
