Fusion splicer for engineers as networks usage continues to grow

Fujikura Europe has released its new 90S+ fusion splicer for engineers working on network upgrades and maintenance throughout Europe, as internet usage continues to surge.

As the surge in usage places more strain on network infrastructure, network operators have had to rely on regular maintenance and upgrades to keep people online, showing engineers’ work schedules are even busier.

To assist network operators and engineers speed up work on the network, the new splicer makes the whole splicing process faster and easier. With market first fully automated features, the device employs Active Blade Management technology to enhance the efficiency of the cleaver to lessen costs and boost productivity. It also provides new Active Fusion Control Technology, which analyses the condition of the cleave end face to deliver optimal fusion control and minimise splice loss.
