Should not be missed! The first series of full-color 3D printing academic books in China

In the past 30 years, 3D Printing (additive manufacturing) technology has been an important supporting technology for the development, trial production, and finalization of high-end industrial products such as Europe, America and Japan, and it is also a major common demand technology for China’s manufacturing innovation and transformation and upgrading of key industries. The new additive principle, the research and development of new materials, equipment innovation, standard construction, and engineering application will inevitably arouse great attention from the “industry-university-research-investment” circles in various countries. 3D printing is a new digital advanced manufacturing technology that integrates mechanical, computer, numerical control, materials and other disciplines. In order to help readers who want a better and more comprehensive understanding of the technology of 3D printing, Huazhong University of Science and Technology Press organized a set of “3D Printing Frontier Technology Series”. The series invites Lu Bingheng, professor of Xi’an Jiaotong University and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Wang Huaming, professor of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Nie Zuoren, professor of Beijing University of Technology and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as the series consultant; and Shi Yu, professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, is invited to be the editor-in-chief of the series. He is also the director of the editorial review committee, and invited many well-known experts in the field of 3D printing in my country to serve as the series editors to plan the ideas and direction of the series construction from the perspective of experts, and review the manuscripts. The “3D Printing Frontier Technology Series” (the first series) contains nine volumes, all of which were released in March 2019, many of which have won the National Science and Technology Academic Publication Fund and the Hubei Provincial Academic Publication Fund. They are: “3D Printing Materials”, “Laser Selective Sintering 3D Printing”, “Light Curing 3D Printing Technology”, “3D Reverse Technology”, “Laser Selective Melting 3D Printing Technology”, “3D Printing Data Format”, “Based on Light-curing 3D printing complex parts rapid casting technology”, “Bio 3D printing: from medical aid manufacturing to cell printing”, “heterogeneous material 3D printing technology”.
